Soviet multi-part cartoon directed by David Cherkassky, based on the story of the same name by Andrey Nekrasov. The cartoon was created at the Kievnauchfilm studio using transfer techniques, hand-drawn animation and real film frames. For each series, more than 16 thousand drawings were made.

Consists of 13 episodes. In 1976, the first three series were created, series 4-6 - in 1977, series 7-9 - in 1978, series 10-13 - in 1979. It premiered on Central Television during the spring school break in March 1980.
