Protests across France against extension to mandatory Health Pass coverage
Protesters rallied in Albertville in the French Alps on Saturday 4 September, against an extension to France's Covid-19 'Health Pass'.
The demonstration was one of many across the country.
The 'Pass Sanitaire' records whether the holder has been vaccinated, has caught and recovered from Covid-19 or has recently tested negative for it.
It is needed to get into cafés, bars, restaurants, hospitals, museums, galleries, and on long-distance journeys by train, plane or bus.
On August 30 it was extended to include employees of all venues open to the public.
Past protests have included both those concerned about the civil liberty implications of the pass and 'anti-vax' opponents of vaccines in general.
