Dramatic new body camera video from the Seattle Police Department (SPD) shows how a pair of teen suspects accused in a shooting at a SODO bus station were finally apprehended.

A 23-year-old woman was shot just after midnight on Feb. 20 at a Greyhound station on South Royal Brougham Way. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, Seattle Fire confirmed that morning.

The new body camera footage, edited together by SPD, showed officers tending to the injured woman at the bus stop. Officers are later shown confronting the suspects, who fled the scene on foot.

The video captured how a King County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) drone equipped with thermal imaging tracked the suspects as they ran away from police. Officers were seen on their body camera footage yelling at the suspects to surrender.

Through aerial surveillance, police tracked down one of the suspects while they were in the process of a suspected burglary at a City of Seattle facility on South Charles Street.

After one suspect surrendered, police coordinated with the drone video from KCSO to find the second suspect hiding behind a pile of what appeared to be car parts. That suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.

A 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old female were arrested and booked into the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center. The SPD did not release any further information on the status of either suspect's charges.
