Israel announces “Dew of the Sky” to detect threats and attacks
The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced "Tal Shamaim" or “Dew of the Sky”, a huge reconnaissance balloon to detect and warn of threats coming from its neighbours.
The inflatable airship is designed to hover at high altitudes and detect incoming long-range missiles, cruise missiles and drones.
The footage shot on Wednesday (November 3) shows the huge airship still docked at a military facility. It's thought it will be launched shortly at an unspecified date.
