Herd of elephants spotted relaxing amid forest cover in Sri Lanka
Wildlife was having the best time while enjoying the blissful weather in Sri Lanka's North Central Province on September 5. The incident took place in Madatugama.
Visuals feature the herd of elephants, including calves, strolling and relaxing amid the forest cover in broad daylight. Meanwhile, some of the jumbos sleep on the ground and cherish the day while the others wander around in search of food.
The elephants in the region are known for straying off their corridors to look for food. They often approach the lake to have a good time while taking a tour of the area, making locals familiar with such instances.
