At least 2 dead in deadly small plane crash in Santee, California
A small plane crashed in a Santee, California neighborhood Monday (October 11) afternoon, killing at least two people including a UPS employee, authorities said.
The plane crashed around 12:15 p.m., according to Santee Fire Department. The aircraft was a Cessna 340A and its flight plan indicated it was traveling from Yuma, Arizona to Montgomery Gibbs Executive Airport in Kearny Mesa, according to a County of San Diego spokesperson.
Footage shows a massive plume of black smoke.
