UK Border Force boat enters Dover after picking up migrants crossing the English Channel
A UK Border Force boat brought a number of migrants to Dover harbour after they were picked up crossing the English Channel on Sunday 5 September.
Around 50 migrants were on board the vessel, called Speedwell.
Migrants are increasingly trying to cross the English Channel, illegally, in small boats going from France to the UK.
The UK and French governments say they are committed to cracking down on the practice, which has become so common that on one day in August alone 1,000 people made the crossing, of which only 200 were stopped.
