Crazy women and french Gendarmerie (is not the US Police...)
By: Gendarmes overpower a woman armed with a hunting rifle in the street. The scene took place on Friday, May 14, 2021 in the middle of the afternoon. At 4.44 p.m., the operational center of the french gendarmerie received a phone call from a local resident, because a disturbed woman was walking in the street armed with a hunting rifle. The mobile gendarmerie went there and tried to establish a dialogue. But the woman was not determined to put down her gun. The gendarmes changed their strategy and attempted a gentle arrest "While the gendarmes fixed their attention by not ceasing to speak to him, a soldier bypassed his position by passing through private property", explained the SIRPA gendarmerie. After having opened the gate of the private property without making noise, the gendarme was able to arrest the woman by surprise. An accidental shot was fired without injuring anyone. During the arrest, one of the gendarmes was bitten in the thigh. The woman was taken to a psychiatric ward.
