Family captures incredible clip of muskrat swimming under the ice in Minnesota while skating

Dr. Gretchen Hansen captured this incredible clip of a muskrat swimming under the ice in St. Paul, Minnesota, on December 21, while skating with her two kids and pet dog.

The family skate along, following the muskrat as their dog tries to chase the playful rodent.

Hansen, who posted the footage on Twitter @gretchen_H20, told local media there were "tons" of muskrats under the ice.
