Terrifying moment couple drives through tornado in Maryland
This is the dramatic moment a couple found themselves driving through a tornado in Annapolis in the US state of Maryland.
Caroline McAndrews and her partner had stopped to pick up some fast food on September 1 when they noticed swirling winds.
"As soon as we left, a tornado struck out of the blue," she said.
"Power lines fell and a transformer blew up right in front of our car. If we would have driven a few feet ahead, it would have hit our car. We are so thankful to be unharmed," she added.
