Thrill-seeker rides jet ski on flooded road after heavy rain in Thailand
This is the moment a thrill-seeker rode a jet ski on a flooded road after heavy rain in southern Thailand.
Footage shows the man speeding through the submerged street in Trang province on August 16.
The rider Pisit Tongchuay said: ‘There was rain throughout the afternoon and I just finished repairing the jet ski so I thought it might be the right time to try it.’
Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are in the middle of their tropical monsoon rainy season, which lasts until October or November. Soaring temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius are often followed by powerful tropical storms with thunder, lightning, rain and flash floods.
