An elderly woman narrowly avoided being hit by a tree after it suddenly fell down in southern China.

In the video, filmed in the city of Foshan in Guangdong Province on September 15, a tree suddenly fell down, narrowly missing an elderly woman on the side of a road.

The scared woman was seen running away quickly.

Several vehicles were damaged in different degrees and the elderly woman was not injured.

The tree has been moved away and the traffic is back to normal.
