Domestic violence suspect arrested after hiding inside a dumpster

Snohomish County, WA - The 35-year-old man was already known to law enforcement, prompting one deputy to tell colleagues that the suspect “likes dumpsters.”
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic violence call near the 12400 block of Highway 99.
Investigators developed probable cause to arrest the man on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic violence assault, but he left the area before deputies could locate him.
Knowing the suspect’s reported preference for hiding in dumpsters, deputies began checking trash containers in the surrounding area.
A concerned citizen then alerted officers after seeing the man enter a nearby dumpster.
Body-camera footage captures deputies surrounding the dumpster and ordering the suspect to come out.
The man eventually emerged from the trash container and was arrested without further incident.
