Armed Domestic Violence Suspect Crashes After 120 MPH Chase

Thurston County, WA - On July 9th, we shared an incident where significant resources were expended to locate a dangerous domestic violence suspect wanted for crimes including burglary 1st and theft of a firearm. The suspect was apprehended and issued a $75k bail, which he posted two days later.
Immediately upon release, the suspect began violating the no contact order, failed to appear in court, and threatened that if contacted by law enforcement he would shoot to kill. The suspect was believed to be armed.
On Sunday evening, deputies and Yelm Police were dispatched to an order violation in progress involving the suspect who was riding a street bike. When a traffic stop was attempted, the suspect fled and a pursuit was initiated.
The suspect fled at speeds over 120mph along SR507. After fleeing in a large circle and heading back toward the denser populated area of Yelm on Vail Rd, the pursuing deputy pulled ahead of the bike and began boxing the suspect in. The rider tried to go around in the ditch and crashed.
The suspect is now under arrest again for multiple counts of order violation, attention to elude, and warrants related to his original charges that including burglary 1st DV, theft of a firearm, assault 2 DV, and malicious mischief DV. The suspect is still in the hospital being treated for his injuries prior to booking.
