Orlando woman bites officer to avoid arrest after attacking 'elderly' victim

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Police Department released bodycam Friday showing a woman biting an officer after allegedly attacking an elderly victim over a driving dispute.
It happened on Feb. 23 in the area of Millenia Boulevard and Millenia Plaza Way, OPD said.
The suspect, Mandolyn Shaffer-Brockwell, refused to comply when officers found her following the incident.
Orlando police were able to locate Shaffer-Brockwell based on a description of her and her vehicle by the victim.
The officer who made contact with Shaffer-Brockwell tried to detain her when she violently resisted, OPD said.
Shaffer-Brockwell struggled against the officer as he applied handcuffs, biting him to stop him from completely applying the cuffs.
Shaffer-Brockwell was arrested and taken into custody following the incident.
