Escaped horse leads police on chase

Santa Fe, NM - The Santa Fe Police Department had a moment straight out of the Wild West this weekend and captured it all with a drone when an escaped horse decided to go for a run around the city. Motorcycle officers, bicycle officers, animal services, and a few cowboys joined the chase before they were able to corral the horse on Canyon Road.

His owner was then able to trot him back to the Santa Fe Plaza, where he was due to participate in this year’s Santa Fe Fiesta Historical Parade.
