Tampa police rescue driver from car that flipped, caught on fire

Tampa, FL - Bodycam video captures the moment Tampa police rescued a driver from her car after it flipped on its side and caught fire.

The footage, released by TPD, shows the officers approaching the car on Sunday in the area of East Fowler Avenue.

Police can be seen breaking the windshield and pulling the woman out as flames flare up near the car's headlight.

"Come out here, come out here!" an officer said to her. "You got it. Come on, come on!"

"The quick and courageous actions of our officers, who shattered the windshield, pulled the driver to safety, and saved her life," Tampa police said.

Nobody else was inside the car.

The driver and two officers suffered minor injuries.
