Video shows Conyers police using a PIT maneuver to end a high-speed chase

Conyers, GA - Conyers Police released video of a high-speed pursuit that ended with two people in custody.
The chase happened early Tuesday morning after officers said they responded to a car break-in in progress at the Comfort Inn in the 1300 block of Klondike Road.
Responding officers received a description of the suspect vehicle and located it as the car was leaving the scene. Police said they tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver took off, prompting a chase that went into DeKalb County.
Officers used a PIT maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle eventually. One person in the car ran from the scene; police said the other two occupants were taken into custody.
Conyers Police Captain Quantavis Garcia said the pursuit lasted a few minutes and reached speeds of 134 mph.
The video shows the moment officers were able to end the pursuit with the PIT maneuver.
According to police, it is believed that these suspects are responsible for about two dozen car break-ins at three separate hotels in Conyers.
The two suspects who were arrested were in possession of five guns, including four that police said were stolen.
The third person who ran from the scene is still wanted.
