Bodycam released after cops were called on 3-year-old for being ‘too good’ at soccer

Winter Park, FL - Parents in Florida claim their 3-year-old son had the police called on him because he was too good at soccer.
A viral Instagram video posted by the parents shows 3-year-old Nevada playing in a soccer game. Nevada can be seen dribbling the ball and scoring goals.
Then, the video shows police officers on the field as Nevada’s father says, “They called police on a 3-year-old ‘cause he’s too good.”
The parents later claimed that Nevada was kicked out of the i9 Sports league for the same reason.
The video gathered thousands of comments.
“Why would police waste their time responding to this?” one user wondered.
“This level of ridiculousness shouldn’t have happened to him, however his future looks very bright since he’s obviously a born champion,” another wrote.
Body camera video from Winter Park police that shows more of the story. Responding officers are shown speaking with a coach who said the boy’s parents were causing a disturbance.
“So, the kid is good, right? He’s great. Real good. So, what happened is, he’s very advanced compared to the other ones. So, he scores a lot of goals, but he’s pushing the other kids … so I try to tell him, play without pushing, right?” the coach said.
He continues, “There was like six kids on the team. I swap the kids out, because he’s so good I take him out, everyone deserves their time … They [the parents] don’t like that. They tell me I’m ignorant, I’m this, I’m that, blah blah blah … I just want them out. Immediately.”
The video then shows the two officers speaking with the boy’s parents, who dispute the coach’s account.
“I guess he was calling because I guess he believes that you guys were causing a disturbance that was interfering with the gameplay,” one officer told the parents.
“They’re mad at my son because he actually plays soccer. So I’m a little confused, and I’m a little baffled because I signed my kid up for soccer. So they’re literally kicking him out of this place because he’s good at soccer,” the boy’s mother said.
“He specifically mentioned that your son is very good, but he doesn’t like how the parents become aggressive,” the officer said.
After speaking with officers, the parents agreed to leave the park with their son.
