12 and 16-year-old arrested in stolen car with two guns are arrested after leading police in pursuit

Dayton, OH - Two juveniles were arrested following a pursuit in Dayton.
According to the Dayton Police Department, officers say they responded to a suspicious vehicle call around 9:30 p.m. on July 26 when they saw a vehicle in a park near Dona Avenue and Broadway Street.
Officers drove up to the vehicle and say it began to drive away through the grass.
Officers say they got close enough to get the vehicle's information and found out that it was stolen that same night. As it was being stolen and drove away, a victim was dragged from the moving vehicle.
Officers say since the victim was dragged in the moving vehicle, the suspect can be charged with felonious assault.
Officers say they attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle, and it drove away.
Officers began a pursuit in the area, and the vehicle came to a brief stop near West Stewart and Carver Place when the passenger sitting in the front seat got out of the vehicle and allegedly ran away from officers.
The Dayton Police Department says an officer apprehended a 12-year-old suspect, who was later found to have two guns.
Police continued their pursuit of the vehicle and attempted to end it by using a Precision Immobilization Technique maneuver.
Officers say the vehicle was able to continue driving and then hit a trailer of a parked truck.
A 16-year-old suspect got out of the car, and it continued driving forward and eventually stopped on train tracks.
Police say the 16-year-old ran from officers into the bushes, but was eventually found and arrested.
The 16-year-old driver and 12-year-old passenger were both booked into the Juvenile Justice Center.
The 12-year-old was charged with the following:
* Carrying a Concealed Weapon
* Improper Handling of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
* Resisting Arrest
* Obstructing Official Business
The 16-year-old was charged with the following:
* Felonious Assault
* Aggravated Robbery
* Felony Theft
* Failure to Comply
* Hit and Run
* Obstructing Official Business
* Resisting Arrest
* Carrying a Concealed Weapon
* Improper Handling of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
