Skiers and snowboarders cruise down the streets of Madrid

Skiers and snowboarders have been making the most of the huge quantities of snow dumped on Madrid by Storm Filomena.

Footage filmed yesterday (January 9) showed thrillseekers cruising down the streets in the centre of the city.

Four people died in the heaviest snowfall in decades which has forced authorities to mobilise troops to rescue trapped motorists.
