Medical equipment catches fire in COVID ICU in India
By: Nurses on duty took immediate action after medical equipment caught fire in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a COVID medical centre on October 29 in Mumbai, India
The fire broke out in the high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) that was placed adjacent to a patient's bed in the ICU unit at Dahisar Kandarpada COVID Centre.
In the video, captured by CCTV cameras, flames can be seen erupting from the medical equipment while a nurse, wearing PPE kit, was at a patient's bed to serve him food.
