Runaway tyre knocks over scooter rider after falling off truck on Chinese road

A runaway tyre knocked over a scooter rider after falling off a truck on a road in southern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Putian in Fujian Province on October 29, shows two tyres falling off a truck and rolling along a road.

One tyre rear-ended a scooter and knocked the rider over. Another hit a lamp post on the side of the road, causing the light to fall down.

As the scooter rider wore a helmet he only suffered minor injuries.
