Avon, OH - The Avon Police Department rescued an owl from a soccer net Sunday morning.

Police said they received a call about an owl entangled in a soccer net.

Officers Steve Vogel and David Orlando responded to the call and freed the bird.

Police said the bird flew away unharmed.
