Officials observed a black motorcycle traveling over 105 mph in a 45 mph zone.
The official initiated a traffic stop as the motorcycle continued through multiple turns in the residential neighborhood before finally coming to a stop at a residence.
It was then discovered that a child was riding as a passenger on the back of the motorcycle during the high-speed ride.
The child was seen wearing a helmet.
When asked about his speed, Johnson told the officer he was testing the motorcycle due to mechanical issues.
Due to the severity of Johnson’s actions, including his excessive speed while transporting a child, he was placed under arrest. Johnson faces two serious charges:
* Child neglect
* Operating a vehicle at 100-plus mph
