Forest department officers haul snarling wild leopard from bottom of well in western India
Staff from India's forest department rescued a snarling wild leopard from the bottom of a deep well in Gujarat state earlier this week.
Footage filmed in Khandheri village in Gir Somnath district on January 13 shows the rescuers using ropes and a special cot to haul the scared feline to safety.
The 5-year-old big cat was being checked for injuries before being released into the wild.
