Oklahoma City, OK - Oklahoma City police conducted a pursuit and arrest of a driver who had been doing burnout donuts and hit two vehicles when attempting to flee the scene.

According to OKCPD, police attempted to stop a red Dodge Challenger after witnessing the vehicle doing burnout donuts near SW 31st and Miller Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The vehicle drove slowly and stopped on SW 30th Street, where a female passenger exited the vehicle.

The driver then took off over 60 mph as police pursued the vehicle. At SW 30th and Agnew Avenue, the driver failed to stop at two stop signs and struck two vehicles in the area.

The driver of the red Dodge Challenger was removed from the vehicle after it came to a stop from rolling.

Jaramy Yeats, age 36, was arrested and charged with eluding a police officer, driving while license revoked, reckless driving, causing an accident resulting in injury, operating a vehicle in an accident without insurance, and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Yeats also had three outstanding felony warrants, two from Oklahoma County and one from Canadian County.
