Columbus, OH - Bodycam shows the moments police arrived after a bus and car collided last month.
The Columbus Division of Police posted parts of the body-worn camera video on Friday that show officers arriving after a COTA bus and a car collided near Parsons Avenue and Byrden Road on October 19, around 12:20 a.m.
Video showed a car rolled onto its side, surrounded by people trying to help the occupants. A CPD lieutenant and other officers started getting the occupants out when the lieutenant noticed that one person was trapped underneath.
Bystanders and police rolled the car backward to free the person.
A crash report has not yet been posted, but police at the time said one person was taken to Grant Medical Center and four others were taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Everyone survived the crash.
Columbus police commented on the video post, confirming the car was not stolen.
