Harrison Township, OH - Cincinnati police have released new dashcam video that depicts the moment that a multi-jurisdictional police chase came to an end in Harrison Township on Saturday.

According to police, a suspect led officers on a chase across Hamilton County after they attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Norwood on the suspect at the intersection of Williams Avenue and Montgomery Road at approximately 4:29 p.m.

Authorities say that the suspect — identified as Iesha Harris — was wanted on outstanding charges of felonious assault and possession of weapons while under disability, leading Norwood officers to initiate the stop.

However, as police proceeded to do so, officers say that Harris fled the scene, causing multiple police departments to respond and give pursuit over a span of 90 minutes while the vehicle traveled west into Indiana.

Before long, police say that Harris eventually looped back into Ohio, with the chase coming to an end just over the Ohio border in Harrison Township.

In the newly released police dashcam video, which lasts just over 30 seconds in total, the final moments of the chase can be seen as Harris's vehicle — a white SUV carrying a flatbed trailer behind it — proceeds to turn onto Lees Creek Road after traveling down New Biddinger Road in Harrison Township.

As the video begins, it depicts the flatbed trailer behind the SUV carrying a Cincinnati Police Department cruiser on top of it. However, the video does not provide context for how the cruiser got there, with police only saying that the SUV made impact with two different police cruisers prior to the final crash.

Towards the end of the video, the driver of the cruiser whose dashcam footage was shared with WLWT can then be seen performing a PIT maneuver on the SUV, causing it to spin out and crash into a tree just off the side of the road.

As the SUV proceeds to swerve off the road, the CPD cruiser on top of its rear trailer can then be seen falling onto the road and rolling over several times, eventually coming to a rest on its side in the middle of Lees Creek Road.

Police say that the SUV then quickly caught fire as it made impact with the tree, with Harris and the officer inside the cruiser both transported from the scene to the hospital. These moments are not shown in the footage, however, with the dashcam video provided to WLWT cutting off shortly after the vehicle makes impact with the tree.

It remains unclear what additional charges Harris may be facing from prosecutors as a result of the police chase. As of Sunday, a listing does not yet appear for Harris in the Hamilton County Jail.
