Dayton officers reunite ‘Hamlet’ the pig with owner

Dayton, OH - Authorities were recently called out to assist an animal in Dayton.

The Dayton Police Department has released bodycam video of the officer’s interactions in the 1000 block of Creighton Ave. on May 11.

Officers were called to the location in reference to a loose pig in the road.

Once on scene, officers found the pig, helped get it into a fenced yard. About 20 minutes after initially arriving, crews reunited Hamlet the pig with its owner.
