Bodycam video shows YouTuber turn himself in after deadly Las Vegas Strip shooting
Las Vegas, NV - Newly released body camera video shows the moment the suspect in a deadly Las Vegas Strip shooting turns himself in.
41-year-old Manuel Ruiz, a valley YouTuber, is accused of shooting and killing Arizona-based YouTuber Rodney Finley, 44, and his wife Tanisha, 43. The shooting happened outside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino just before 11 p.m. Sunday.
The shooting was caught on Finley’s livestream on his channel, “Finny Da Legend.” FOX5 learned Finley and Ruiz, who also has a channel called “Sin City Manny,” had a longtime feud, possibly over copyright issues.
Police say the couple died on scene. Ruiz turned himself in to Henderson police just before 10 a.m. Monday.
According to an arrest report, Ruiz said the shooting was in self-defense.
He is currently being held without bail and is due back in court Thursday morning.
