Dashcam shows former OHP trooper accused of sexually assaulting a woman after a traffic stop

Oklahoma City, OK - Oklahoma Highway Patrol released dash camera video of a former trooper who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman after a traffic stop.
A preliminary hearing is set for Jarquez Evans, who is charged with rape and forcible oral sodomy.
Evans is accused of stopping a vehicle near Southeast 29th and South High Avenue and telling the driver to follow him down the road or go to jail for driving under suspension and without insurance.
The victim followed the trooper to another location, where he's accused of sexually assaulting her. She then filed a report with the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also released a statement saying it received the report in 2024 and placed Trooper Evans on administrative leave. After the investigation, he was arrested, and his employment was terminated.
The case has been filed by the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office, and a preliminary hearing is set for early 2026.
