CHP air unit shows high speed chase going wrong way on the highway

Last night, CHP H-30 responded to assist officers from the CHP - Dublin office conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that was wanted for a previous crime.

As H-30 arrived overhead, the suspect vehicle fled from Dublin CHP officers. Due to the suspect's actions, ground units discontinued their involvement.

H-30 remained overhead as the suspect traveled into CHP Valley Division on I-580, then south on I-5. CHP Air 21 arrived overhead, allowing H-30 to assist officers in recovering possible evidence that was thrown from the vehicle.

Air-21 followed the suspect to Modesto, where he was taken into custody.
This was the 6th pursuit Golden Gate aircraft have actively been involved in during the past 48 hrs.
