Man arrested after 100 mph motorcycle chase in Grand Blanc Township

Grand Blanc Township, MI - A 37-year-old Fenton man was arrested after leading police on a chase reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour in Grand Blanc Township.

What began as an attempt to pull a motorcyclist over for a speeding civil infraction escalated, resulting in the man’s arrest on 11 felony charges.

The chase took place around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 17, police said.

After jumping off his motorcycle, the motorcyclist led police on a foot chase.

Police recovered a firearm and methamphetamine the fleeing man had attempted to discard during the foot chase.
