Arkansas State Police released footage of troopers chasing a stolen ambulance

West Memphis, AR - The ambulance was stolen out of Memphis on April 17. Memphis Fire Department said crews were treating a patient at a home on Tunica Street when they noticed an unknown person driving away with the ambulance.

MFD personnel was able to track the vehicle into Arkansas, where Arkansas State troopers gave chase.

Troopers were able to use spike strips and a PIT maneuver to stop the ambulance and take the suspect into custody at Baptist Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

The suspect was identified as Vanessa Bowen. She’s charged with theft of property.
