A GoPro on Schalk Louw's recorded as he removed a castaway fishing line from a seal pup's neck in March 2020.
After Louw carefully removes the line from around the marina mammal's neck he releases the pup.
He told Newsflare: "I run to the rescue of a baby fur seal that was entangled in fishing line. The fishing line cut in quite deep and was very painful and certainly life-threat
