Dashcam video shows suspect flying over car after jumping embankment during pursuit

Fond du Lac, WI - The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has released dashcam video from a pursuit that ended with a suspect driving over an embankment, crashing and attempting to flee on foot.

Authorities said the incident involved Dewayne Stokes, who reportedly had an active felony warrant out of Kenosha County.

According to investigators, the pursuit concluded after Stokes drove down an embankment and went airborne before crashing the vehicle.

He then attempted to run from law enforcement but was taken into custody.

Stokes was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding officers, resisting or obstructing officers, felony bail jumping and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
