The Caspian Report had a powerful and clear opening statement so I wanted to share it here.

Simply whatever Russia has accomplished since the fall of the USSR or Communism is no longer. Putin is dialing back the accomplishments of the Russian people and established trade around the world.

Russia may take Ukraine in whole or part. The cost is high. For years there might be asymmetric warfare conducted by Ukrainians. The Occupation will show the world how toxic Russia is. This only spells failure for the Russian people.
