Firefighters rescue 7 dogs from house fire

Pacific, MO - Seven dogs were rescued from a residential structure fire in Pacific, Missouri.
According to the Pacific Fire Protection District, crews responded to the fire Monday and were notified that multiple dogs were inside. Firefighters rescued five dogs during their initial search and rescued two additional dogs during their second search.
The fire protection district posted a video showing the response to the fire.
The Meramec Ambulance District said crews provided oxygen, water and a safe place for the animals to help them recover. The fire protection district said all seven dogs survived.
"We are also grateful for the training our crews have received in the past on caring for animals affected by structure fires," the ambulance district said in a Facebook post. "That training gave our team the knowledge and confidence to provide appropriate care when these four-legged patients needed it."
No one was injured in the fire.
