Excavator Industrial Shaft Accident

An excavator fell from a field on the Central Kowloon Main Line last night, and when workers were lifting a excavator, it fell dozens of meters into a shaft. Footage circulating on the Internet showed that the excavator had slings and chains fixed during lifting, but suspected of losing balance,

The excavator leaned forward, flipped down the shaft, and the sling broke, leaving workers on the ground scrambling to avoid it.

No injuries were reported.
