Shane Smith was arrested after an hours-long standoff on Mini Court in Kettering.

Investigators say they discovered human remains at the home Wednesday morning.

Shane Smith, 40, was booked in the Montgomery County Jail on Friday afternoon, according to jail records.

According to court records, Smith faces strangulation and obstructing official business charges.
