Conifer, CO - Deputies in Jefferson County posted a video on social media Tuesday showing how they freed a deer from being tangled in a slackline course in Conifer.

Jefferson County deputies said their animal control officers responded with “steady hands and quick thinking.”

Deputies said they used garden loppers and “a lot of patience” to quickly and carefully work together to free the deer without injury and send it safely back on its way.
