Naked man arrested by Portland officers after being struck by a police car while armed with a gun
Portland, OR - Portland police on Wednesday released body camera video from an armed incident in the Lloyd District earlier this month.
Officers said a naked man with a gun was seen running before firing a shot in front of police.
Investigators said an officer struck 43-year-old Robert Hatley with a patrol car after officers saw him fire the weapon.
Hatley kept running, went into an apartment building and was eventually taken into custody after officers used a stun gun on him.
The Portland Police Bureau is now reviewing the use of that patrol car as a deadly force event.
Hatley was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
He was then taken to jail and faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.
