Suspect hits Edmond officer's car before leading police on chase that ends with guns drawn, arrest

Edmond, OK - Police released video of police chasing down a suspect who hit an officer's car before a pursuit ended with guns drawn in the middle of an Edmond road.
Shortly before 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Edmond police officers conducted a traffic stop when the driver fled through the parking lot of OU Medical Center Edmond near Bryant Avenue and Second Street. The suspect hit another officer's car and sped onto Bryant Avenue.
Officers chased after the suspect to East 15th Street, where a tactical vehicle maneuver was performed in the road in front of the Spring Creek Village shopping area.
The suspect's vehicle spun out and stopped in the middle of the road, and officers approached him with their weapons drawn. Police yelled orders at the suspect, who complied after several commands were made and was taken into custody.
The suspect was arrested on several complaints, including felony eluding, assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful carry of a weapon. The suspect's name has not been released because formal charges have not been filed.
