sticking with the London Transport theme here's the old British Transport Film Classic 'Overhaul' from 1957 showing what happens to every bus every four years and the work undertaken to achieve a 'new bus' - fit for another half a million miles at it's revolutionary new Engineering Department.

Starts a bit slow but soon picks up - for those so enamoured this is thoroughly enjoyable and interesting but to many bods on this site it will be of no use whatsoever and to those people I'd say (most respectfully) 'Move on (or back) for this ain't for you at all, save yourself some seventeen minutes.
NOTE: this is aimed more at fellow RC's, the cognoscenti and admirers of the genre.
