A manhole explosion sent a boy flying into the air after he threw a firecracker inside in northwestern China.

The shocking moment, filmed in Kangle County in Gansu Province on October 11, shows a boy walking to a manhole and throwing a firecracker into it when he was playing with several other children in a residential community.
