Missing crew member found dangling 16 feet in air, rescued by Hillsborough deputies

Hillsborough County, FL - A missing crew member was rescued by Florida deputies after she found herself dangling 16 feet in the air, trapped upside down by a rope.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said that on December 7, port deputies were alerted that the woman had not returned to her ship the previous night.
Following up on the report, they quickly located her in a precarious situation—hanging upside down by her leg from a rope about 16 feet above the ground.
Fortunately, it was reported that the woman was still conscious when deputies and her fellow crew members reached her. She explained that she had gotten lost and slipped while trying to climb down the rope.
HCSO said that they were able to bring the woman down with only minor injuries.
