Pasco County, FL - Two paddleboarders are home safe after they were swept out in the Gulf and unable to get back to shore on Tuesday.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office said its aviation unit spotted the paddleboarders, who were seen trying to use an umbrella as a sail near Anclote Key.

The sheriff’s office said the New Port Richey Police Department’s marine unit pulled up to the paddleboarders and helped bring them back to shore.
