Tallahassee police release bodycam footage of two juveniles being arrested for vehicle burglary

Over the weekend, officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Bluff Oak Way regarding several vehicles being burglarized.

As officers arrived, they observed two suspects in the parking lot pulling on car door handles and checking to see if the doors were left unlocked. Officers quickly approached and took one suspect into custody without incident, while the second suspect began to flee. A very lengthy foot pursuit throughout the complex resulted in the suspect being safely apprehended after a TASER deployment. While taking the suspect into custody, officers discovered he was in possession of a stolen firearm.

Both suspects were subsequently arrested and charged accordingly.
