Footage of an incident that took place last Wednesday, May 19, on Liza Chaikina Street in Petrozavodsk, appeared on the Web.

The recording shows that a dozen people gathered in the courtyard of a residential building, mainly mothers with small children. The conversation of local residents was interrupted by the fall of a birch tree, which could not withstand the pressure of the wind.

People noticed the threat in time and managed to leave the dangerous place in time, the only participant in the events who hesitated was an elderly woman.

Fortunately, she was only touched by the branches of a collapsed birch and, according to preliminary data, no one was seriously injured.
